Captain Louie is the story of a young boy on Halloween night who escapes into his own imagination as a means of coping with the loneliness he feels when he moves to a new neighborhood. Of its initial production, The New York Times said Captain Louie captures "the sound and rhythm of music that runs through childhood fantasies with a book that conveys the communicative magic of the original story."

The story is full of tricks and treats, and the incomparable music and lyrics of Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin). Most of all, Captain Louie is about friendship -- the ability to make new friends and the importance of old ones.

Featuring Tucker Godbold, Louie; Mitzi Zitler, Roberta; Julie Montalbano, Amy; Johan Lowe, Julio; Azmar Eli, Ziggy; Tyson Ford, Archie; Mimi Bernard, Cat with Madeline Kelly, Jayde Platenburg, Lindsey Reynolds, Annaje’ Rious, Nina Rollins, Gigi Schwab, Jessie Woodman and Keshone White as the Ensemble.

The NORD/CCLYT production staff includes Troy R. Populous, director; Jamani  Andrews, choreographer;  Julie Condy, music/vocal director;  Kate Jensen, costumes; Michael Dixon, scenic designer; and Mark Montalbano, lighting designer.
